Or is it just me?
If you are reading this, you must first recognize that everyone’s life is hard at some points, and your difficulties might not be out of the ordinary. Although life’s difficulties are on a spectrum from least hard to something harder than anybody could imagine, the important thing to realize is that it gets easier. I know that the stereotypical thing to say at this point is that time heals all wounds and it will eventually get better. This is true to a certain extent, but I believe that making life easy is actually more simple than people might think.
The first thought that I had to engrave in my mind for a simpler life is to expect life to get hard. We can’t lollygag around our grandma’s kitchen, expecting everything to be sunshine and daisies all the time. We must believe that life is intended to be hard, BUT hard times are also intended to be overcome.
Say for example, you’re not sure what to do for money because you just lost your job. This first step is identifying why you lost your job and learning from that experience. The second step is obvious, you must find a new job. So many people sit around and wonder what went wrong and get all sad that they can’t come into work drunk and an hour late every single day. We must learn and move on because thinking about the past will not help us with our future. Procrastination is a huge problem for so many people as to why their life is so hard. Having thoughts that blurry their vision for the future and they doubt themselves and their own life goals. That brings us to step three and something that I am still trying to improve upon myself. We must remember that everything gets easier with action. We must dive into something head first and we will eventually understand it. Most importantly, we must understand that if we put enough time into anything, we will master it.
